Fable Handknit aims to encourage young designers to get to know the art of knitting: starting with sponsoring fashion design students at Ryerson University.

TORONTO, April 10, 2006-  Fable Handknit was a proud sponsor of two graduating students from the Ryerson School of Fashion. Their work was showcased at the annual fashion show, Mass Exodus. Both students were provided with Pure Baby Alpaca yarn to create knitwear pieces for their final year collections.

Jentine Gootjes designed a bridal collection with knitted outerwear pieces for brides who plan their weddings in the fall or winter season.

Fanny Siong's collection was inspired by ancient Greek costume. Her daywear collection incorporated knitted cover up pieces that are both modern and expressive of ancient times.
